There are almost 3 hundreds of scholarships available for Masters, MPhil and PhD students.

The GIST scholarship period for the Master's degree program is 2 years, while for the PhD program it is four years. There is no application fees required for the GIST Scholarship.

Opportunities

GIST Scholarship Program offers:

Tuition fee support (3,415,000 Won per semester)

All international students will receive a monthly stipend of 140,000 ounces for masters students and 295,000 ounces for doctoral students.

About 100,000 Won monthly food allowance will be provided.

If international students maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the previous semester, 120,000 Won will be paid as an international student allowance.

Students participating in the research project will receive a research assistant allowance.

Accommodation for international students.

Flight return costs will be borne.

Health insurance.

Eligibility of application:

Applicants for the Masters program must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Applicants must have a master's degree or equivalent to apply for a PhD program scholarship.

Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic performance.

Applicants must be medically fit.

Candidates from all countries can apply for this GIST scholarship, but at first they need to fulfill all the eligibility criteria given by the university.
