BSF Can't Kill Bangladeshis Like Birds: BGB Captain | India Bangladesh Border Killing by BSF
A Bangladeshi youth Md. Ibrahim Hossain (28) was shot dead by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at around 2 am on Tuesday. He was shot dead by members of 70 BSF Shoshani Camps. The BSF now wants to return the body but Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) is not taking it. The body is not being taken as a protest, said the captain of Chapainawabganj 59 BGB battalion.
Ibrahim is the son of Abu Taher Dukhu Miah from the Dhulipara village in Shahbazpur union of Shibganj Upazila.
Monirul Islam, a member of Shahbazpur Union Parishad's Ward 8, said, "Ibrahim was shot dead by BSF in the Azmatpur border outpost area on Tuesday night. However, the BGB has not returned the body yet. Maybe take, but it's a little late.'
Ibrahim's cousin Shariful Islam said, "The BGB is not taking back the body even after three days. Although we contacted them repeatedly, the BGB did not respond. They are repeatedly saying that BSF will shoot and kill Bangladeshis, and we will take back the bodies!"
Chapainawabganj 59 BGB Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Amir Hossain Mollah was contacted by phone to know about this. "We have been in touch with the Indian Border Security Force (BSF)," he said. They said they had a body.
Asked about the return of the body, the BGB captain said, "They (BSF) cannot kill the people of Bangladesh like birds. That is why I am not taking back the body.''
The people of Bangladesh are totally bored about consecutive border killing by Indian BSF. The Bangladeshi people often try to protest against Border Killing, but sometimes Government attribute hardness upon the protester. It is Because of political purpose of the ruling party Bangladesh Awami League.
