Study in South Korea with Full-free Scholarship | Scholarship in Korea

Everyone dreams of going to North America, Europe or Australia for higher education. But South Korea (officially Republic of Korea or ROK) is moving forward in tandem with these countries in education and research. Technically, almost every country in the world imitates this country. There are also various facilities for foreign students in higher education. Scholarships are easily available. As a result, there is no need to look for a job.

The Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) is offering a similar scholarship to graduates. Students from any country in the world including Bangladesh can apply for this GIST Undergraduate Scholarship. The last date of application is 15th February.

Students will not be charged any tuition fee under ‘GIST Undergraduate Scholarship’. In addition, various benefits will be provided including monthly stipend, travel allowance and health insurance. Graduation period is 4 years.

Scholarships in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Earth Science, and Environmental Engineering as well as Life Sciences, Physics, Photonics, Chemistry, Biomedicine and Biomedical Science.

GIST is located in Guangzhou province of the country. It was established in 1993 by the ROK government.

Benefits:

* Full tuition fee will be waived.

* 1 lakh 30 thousand Won (Won is South Korean currency known as KRW, stands for Korean Won) per month will be paid for student allowance. In Bangladeshi currency the amount is about 10 thousand Taka.

* 2 lakh 60 thousand KRW per month will be paid for food allowance. The amount in Bangladeshi currency is about 20 thousand BDT.

* 1 lakh 30 thousand Won will be paid per month for international allowance. In BDT is about 10 thousand taka.

* 2 lakh one lump sum allowance will be given. In Bangladeshi taka the amount is about 15 thousand BDT.

* Cost of one flight.

Eligibility Criteria:

* Higher secondary should be good fruitful.

* Must show English proficiency certificate.

* Must score a minimum of 7.5 in IELTS or at least 60 in TOEFL IBT.

* Applicants should never be admitted/enrolled in any other Korean institute or school before.

* No GRE or SAT is required for this scholarship program.
