It is awarded annually through competition and the scholarship is open to all international and EU students in any subject awarded to University of Warwick. The University of Warwick is an UK based University.

The latest information is there will be 42 Chancellor's International Scholarships in the 2022/23 academic year.

The University of Warwick is one of the leading public research universities in the United Kingdom or UK. It was established in 1985 as part of the UK Government's initiative to expand higher education. Chancellor's International Scholarships are awarded to PhD students from this university.

Opportunities:

Tuition fees will be paid in full under the scholarship

A maintenance stipend consistent with the UKRI rate (temporary 15,609 Euro for fulltime award in 2022/23, is expected to be confirmed in February 2022).

5000 Euro for a research, training and support grant (RSTG)

Length of Fund is 3.5 years, unless you are already in the first year of your study at the time of application the length of the fund will be reduced accordingly.

 

Eligibility of Application:

Applicants for the Chancellor's International Scholarship must apply for a Ph. D. Degree at the University of Warwick in October 2022;

Students currently enrolled in a PhD or MPhil/PhD Research at the University of Warwick may apply only in the first year of their enrollment;

Applicants should be assessed as ‘foreign’ for the purpose of either fee, but no other nationality criteria;

Applicants may be from any discipline in Warwick.

Scholarship cannot be suspended in next academic year.

Application Procedure:

To apply for the Chancellor's International Scholarship, you must first apply for PhD admission, by January 17, 2022.

Once you have submitted your admission application, you will receive an automated e-mail instructing you to register your student ID number and your ITS applicant account, which you must fill out. It can take up to 48 hours to arrive. This username and password can then be used to apply for the scholarship.

To apply for admission you do not need to receive a study offer by the scholarship application deadline. All applicants should ensure that they have read the guidance note before submitting an application.
