The Gates Cambridge Scholarship is one of the most prestigious opportunity for the international students. It is open to students from anywhere in the world except the UK. This program was launched in October 2000 with the goal of building a capable and capable future world leadership.

All costs of this program are borne by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The foundation bears the full cost of the master's degree program and the PhD degree program in the United Kingdom. 60 international person are given this opportunity every year. About two-thirds of these is allocated to PhD students. From these opportunities about 25 for the United States and 55 for the rest of the world.

Facilities Under Scholarship:

• University tuition and semester fees
• Maintenance Allowance 18,500 per annum.
• Return tickets and airfare
• Inbound visa costs
• Health allowance
• Academic Development Fund - 500 to 2,000 depending on the duration of the course.
• Conference and course fees
• Family Allowance: Up to, 10,120 for the first child and up to 4,320 for the second child.
• Maintenance Allowance
• Fieldwork
• Crisis funds
• Maternity or paternity funds. You can apply for up to six months to complete your studies and receive your maintenance allowance.

Courses that can be done under this stipend: 1 year postgraduate, PhD, MSc/Emlit etc.

What is no the part of program:

This stipend is not applicable for any Undergraduate Degree, MBA, Post Graduate in Finance, PGCE, Clinical Studies, 6 year part time Doctor of Medicine degree, Bachelor of Medicine course, part time degree, non-degree course.

Whatever is needed:

• Academic transcript
• 2 academic references
• 1 personal reference
• Research proposal where applicable
• Certificate of IELTS or any other English language proficiency.
